Sport is een uitdaging: jezelf een doel stellen en dat willen bereiken. Als je dan klachten krijgt is het moeilijk voor een sporter om toe te geven dat het rustiger moet. Training en rust moeten echter in balans zijn om optimaal te kunnen presteren.
Het begeleiden van sporters geeft mij veel voldoening. In het verleden ben ik mee geweest als masseur met de Roparun: een onvergetelijk evenement. Bij intensief sporten is massage eigenlijk een “must”. Na de behandeling kan je weer fit met de volgende training starten en je voorkomt er blessures mee.
